Amp Fiddler
Amp Fiddler（アンプ・フィドラー）は、ミシンガン州デトロイトを拠点とするキーボーディスト／シンガー／ソングライターである。
George Clinton率いるParliament/Funkadelicに在籍し、またMoodymann, Brand New Heavies, Fishbone, Jamiroquai, Maxwell, Princeのレコーディングやツアーに参加してきた、現代を代表するSOUL/FUNKミュージシャンの１人である。
テープ編集でビートを作っていた若い頃のJ Dillaに、サンプリング・ドラムマシーンAKAI MPC60での制作をAmpが薦め教えたことでも知られ、そしてそのDillaをQ-Tipに紹介したのもAmpである。その後DillaはThe Ummahに参加する。
1990年、ベースプレイヤーであるBubz Fiddlerとの兄弟ユニット、Mr.Fiddlerとして、アルバム『With Respect 』をリリース。
Amp Fiddlerとしてのソロ活動を開始し、2003年、アルバム『Waltz Of A Ghetto Fly』をリリース。2006年、アルバム『Afro Strut』、2008年、Sly & Robbieとの共作アルバム『Inspiration Information』をリリースしている。
2016年、最新アルバム『Motor City Booty』をMidnight Riot Recordingsよりリリース。
また、2017年にはMahogani MusicからはMoodymannとのコラボレーションアルバムをリリース予定とのこと。
