Theo Parrish (Sound Signature)

デトロイトに拠点をおくアーティスト、Theo Parrish。ワシントンDCに生まれ、年少期をシカゴで育つ。またその後カンザスシティー、Kansas City Art InstituteではSound Sculpture（音の彫刻）を専攻。1994年、デトロイトに移住。1997年、レ－ベルSound Signatureを立ち上げ、常に新しい発想と自由な表現で次々に作品を世に送り出す。2013年にはSound SignatureのシスターレーベルWildheart Recordingsを始動している。2014年、5thアルバム『American Intelligence』をリリース。ロンドンのクラブPlastic Peopleでの月1回のレギュラーを終え、現在デトロイトでのローカルパーティーMusic Gallery Detroitを年2-3回のペースで開催している。他のアーティストへのサポートも積極的に行い、Jay Daniel, Specter, Dego&Kaidi, GE-OLOGY, Leron Carson, Byron The Aquarius, Alton Millerの作品をSound Signatureよりリリース。2016年にはレーベルコンピレーションCD『Sound Signature Presents: These Songs That Should’ve Been Out On Wax By Now – Part 1&2』がリリースされている。
